Method of Mineralogical Testing
- Qualitative and semi-quantitative analysis of minerals from various material samples
- All analyses are performed using transmitted polarized light microscopy (size of analyzed particles > 1 um).
- The results are obtained by visual estimation based on standards or by point counting analysis
Mineralogical Testing Instructions
- Various material samples of acceptable size (+ 5/5/3 cm), rock fragments/ powder (200 g), soil material (200 g) in sealed plastic bags
- All samples should be clearly identified/numbered.
- Instructions related to hazardous materials to be provided as required (MSDS)
